Italy is a small country with a rich history preserved in majestic monuments and architecture. For the carpet design, I decided to represent this aspect of Italy. The iconic symbols of our heritage and culture.
I feel the things we experience open up our minds to new ideas. A sunset over the Italian vineyards is one such experience. The coloured sky as the sun sets in the beautiful countryside creates a magical atmosphere.
My carpet design is a manifestation of that ethereal experience using simplified geometries of traditional Italian architecture.
It’s going be a brand-new way of living and interacting with people. Designing these new living solutions as an attempt to define the new “normal” will be really interesting.
Opportunities to learn and grow are always present. We must constantly work at improving some attitudes, some aspects of ourselves.
